Measure how often a keyword appears in your text, and where.
Matched as whole words, case-insensitively. No stemming.
Paste some text and enter a keyword to measure it.
Density is occurrences ÷ total word count, stated so you can reconcile it with your own count. There is no target worth aiming for — search engines stopped rewarding density decades ago, and keyword stuffing is named in Google’s spam policies. Use this to catch accidental over-repetition, not to hit a number.

A single word or a phrase — both are matched as whole words.
Count, density and where in the text it appears.
Density is occurrences divided by total words. Some tools divide multi-word phrases differently, which is why two tools can disagree — this one tells you its definition.
Singular and plural are counted separately unless you explicitly search for both, so the number always matches what you can count by hand.
A keyword appearing ten times in one paragraph and a keyword spread across a page have identical density and completely different readability.
Count a target keyword or phrase in a piece of text and see its density with the calculation stated plainly: occurrences divided by total word count, expressed as a percentage. Matching is whole-word and case-insensitive, so "SEO" and "seo" count together while "seotools" does not match "seo". No stemming is applied — "tool" and "tools" are counted separately unless you ask for both — because silent stemming produces numbers people cannot reconcile with their own reading. Distribution across the text is shown too, since a keyword clustered in one paragraph reads very differently from one spread evenly.
